Strange days indeed.
Oh yeah, another day of school with next to no sleep, just what I need. But I ended up staying over late at Bra's place. Then, when I came home, Father and I talked until it was time to go to school. I know this situation bothers Father a lot, and he feels he can't really express it properly because let's face it, this Trunks isn't really his son. Yet it is, but it isn't, and it gets very confusing.
But in truth, I think being exhausted was almost the best way to handle school today. At least I was nice and quiet. It was like, "yes, I could make some noise in class, but that might take this thing called effort, and I don't want to make that now. I think I'll just sit and try to listen to the teacher instead."
I came home from school as fast as I could, feeling a little torn. I mean, part of me wanted to go over to Bra's place, but I know my Father is leaving tomorrow morning and I don't know when I'll see him. I wanted to spend time with him, so I decided to go home. As it turned out, he and Mom went over to Vegeta and Bulma's place earlier to drop off some food and so Father could see Victoria.
We did spar with Gokou for a bit, but I guess they both noticed I was ready to drop and told me to give it up and take a nap. I only slept for like a couple hours.
Right now, Father is taking a shower, which is why I'm writing this. I'm not going to sleep tonight either. This is the last chance we'll have for a long time, maybe even forever to talk and I don't want to waste a minute of it. I can sleep tomorrow after he leaves.
I'm going to miss him so much
