Ha! I am as wily and sneaky as one of those dampish dungeon dweller sorts. I've convinced Mum and Dad that it's better I stay at the castle for hols; now that they know I'm going for Auror track I can use schoolwork as a reason to get out of stocking Dad's shelves with latest in colour-changing inks and doxy repellant. Not that I mind chipping in, it's really more that I'm not especially keen on eating Mum's easter dinner. She and Aunt Enid always roast these cornish game hens, which are tasty and suchlike, but they save the INNARDS to use in cornbread pudding! If there's a more perfect way to ruin cornbread pudding I don't know of it. But Mum's sort of a clean plate committee type; if I turned my nose up at the innard pudding she'd likely box me in the ear.

So now that I've got the hols pudding-free, I think I ought to make use of my time and study up for that killer DADA exam. James and I got a bet on who gets highest marks this time around, and there's no way I'm giving 5 galleons and the rest of my droobles gum to that sod. SPEAKING OF DROOBLES....

WHERE'S MY SPANKY PANTS?

Al, ask Gideon and Fabian if they'd like to go for a fly with us tomorrow. Weather's been nice--just make sure Gideon knows I don't do those fancy quidditch moves, likesay?

Plus, there was something I wanted to ask you.
