the icon was made in PSCS, using selective color- not translatable

+ remember! it's not sure that these options work the same way on different pictures. play around the settings until you reach my result. + i choose a screencap of sex and the city.

step 001. crop and resize your picture to 100x100 pixels. if it's needed shapren it (and if you picutre is too dark, make as amny screen layers as you need)



step 002. go to layer >> new adjustment layer >> selective color and make these settings

reds:
CYAN: -100
MAGENTA: +20
YELLOW: -20
BLACK: +15

yellows:
CYAN: -100
MAGENTA: -100
YELLOW: -100
BLACK: -100

neutrals:
CYAN: +20
MAGENTA: 0
YELLOW: -15
BLACK: -20



step 003. go to layer >> new adjustment layer >> hue / saturation . and make these settings

master: saturation: +21



step 004. go to layer >> new adjustment layer >> selective color and make these settings

reds:
CYAN: 0
MAGENTA: 0
YELLOW: +20
BLACK: -10

yellows:
CYAN: -100
MAGENTA: 0
YELLOW: 0
BLACK: 0

whites:
CYAN: +100
MAGENTA: 0
YELLOW: -100

step 005. make a new layer, fill with #210007 and set it to exclusion, 100%.



step 006. go to layer >> new adjustment layer >> hue / saturation . and make these settings

master: saturation: +10



step 007. make a new layer, fill with #000212 and set it to exclusion, 100%.



step 008. make a new layer, fill with #E6FBFF and set it to color burn, 100%.



and your done! (of course you can add text/brushes/textures or anything)
