She scurried away to another tree, rustling the nearby plants and quietly cursing. She didn't want to accidentally harm any of them!

"Jack!" she said, coming out from with her arms spread wide. "How wonderful to see you! I didn't hear you come in! I was...deep in silent and mature contemplation!"

"Of course," he agreed stoutly. "These gardens invite such. I was just thinking how stepping into it made me want to act at least ten years older."
Smiling, he added, "It's good to see you, too."

"Aren't they lovely?" she said, looking back around with genuine fascination. "I never expected to see anything like them. I'm sternly reminding myself that I probably shouldn't settle in and start mucking about without checking with Leto first."

If he didn't show, she would miss him. At the same time, it seemed an unfair card to play if he really didn't want to come for a visit.

"Not recently," she said quietly. "That past crazy weekend, I found out I was a long-lost Skywalker, but my baser incarnations were all channeled towards sex with people I rather wouldn't."
That wasn't to say she hadn't murdered friends before, if only in bouts of Fandom weird. The time before, when she'd turned into an assassin for Merlin. The other-Fandom where she'd killed several people she counted friends. Including that world's version of Leto.
