Not that it really mattered - he couldn't send the letters anyway and let Ghani at home know about Fandom before she arrived here - but it did make Arrakis feel less far away. Unfortunately, that remeinder also worsened the homesickness. The pen moved across the sheet of paper, and this time he wrote in Fremen, the language he missed speaking the most.
