emiliana torrini's vocals are perfect for this song. i totally forgot about her after she released that horrible acoustic album. the poor thing lost her fiance, so she went all lillith fair on us. however, i stumbled on this tune, "until the morning", while searching for more thievery corporation songs on limewire.
the weather is cold outside; however, the sun is really bright. i love days like these. i feel like going for a walk, wearing my coke glasses (hehehe... my huge, dark d&g sunglasses...). if the air here was not as carcinogenic as it is, then i would love to do so.
i spoke to manu two days ago. he's in total bliss with juan. i'm happy for him. he seems a little lost when he's not in a relationship. i think i'm getting there. i value my independence too much. it's not a matter of being able to sleep with anyone because i'm really past my tart stage. i am hot and cold when it comes to romance. i always need some space but like to smothered sometimes too. i guess it's like most people. oh well... i'll deal with that as i'm confronted with it; right now, it's time to throw myself into work and school (later this year).
i thought about it for a long while, and i really don't need 400 usd shoes. it's insane. i could buy a nice pair for 1/2 that amount. i think i'll do that instead. not to mention, i can get a whole bunch of funky shoes at sportie la on melrose.
