I have a new phone. so far it has cost me $6.20 in change and two imported beers. add to that $80 for a battery and $30 for a charger and it's still a bargain. it's one of those fancy phones that takes photo's and plays music. exciting. up intill this point i never thought i'd ever need a telephone that does anything other than make telephone calls.
it's like a gift from the heavens. and by heaven, i mean the gutter of a taxi rank.
this morning we were invited to play a show with the same band we played with on saturday. so there will be one final gig before chris goes on his spanish quest. yay! tuesday it is. it's kind of annoying, because the band is at the point where we should and could be playing on a weekly basis. oh, well. January will be here in no time.
also, i found a four-leaf clover this morning. it's always significant when i find one. not sure what it means exactly, but it's like i'm on the right path somehow. i've been finding them since prep. in grade 4 i had a collection of about 200 pressed inside a book about smurfs. i wonder what happened to that book?
i saw dodgey counterfeit four-leaf clovers for sale at the newsagent the other day. what a scam. they were meerly shamrocks that had been split down the middle, with 2 segments removed. they were being sold for $4.95. they didn't even look authentic, as the label would have you beleive. maybe i should start selling mine on e-bay?
