You think you're alone until you realize you're in it...

I can't shake the feeling that time has sped up in some way. The days/weeks seem to be going by a little quicker now. Under normal circumstances, I'd be pretty happy with this but I feel like I am losing the time I need to get everything done that I have set before me. This doesn't only include work and things like that, but I am afraid I am not giving myself enough time to sort out the moving situation in the Fall. I feel like I should have a better grasp on my plans and be farther along in the process than I am. If I get myself refocused, hopefully the plan can be salvaged.

Dennetta and I were able to have our Project Runway date this week for the finale. To be honest, I'm a little relieved that the show is over so I can quit feeling ashamed every time I admit to watching it (let alone liking it). As a big Santino supporter, I was pretty disappointed with the outcome. I thought both Daniel V. and Chloe's collections were ridiculous. I don't really know how Chloe even managed to make it to the Top 3 because her designs were consistently boring and expressed no personality whatsoever. Since an internship of sorts with Banana Republic was on the line, maybe boring worked in her favor?

This weekend was a step up from last weekend. Sam called earlier in the week and told me she was trying to get a group of people to go out Friday night. I was having a hard time deciding if I should go or not since I had to work the next day, but that turned out to be a non-issue because she called to tell me all plans were off Thursday night. Sam's invitation was also a little disconcerning as it seemed more like a "Hey, I am calling everyone I possibly can to go out and you are call number 439!" type thing. It was still nice to talk to Sam, though, as I had not talked to her in a couple of months. In lieu of being socially adventrous, I spent Friday night prepping for the next day's meeting and being productive.

Bill was in town Saturday for his sister's performance at the Iowa Girls High School Basketball Tournament, so we met up after my meeting so we could go watch with the rest of his family. I would love to say that the highlight of the evening was Mary's drill team performance (or even hanging out with Bill), but the highlight was definitely the four song set by country legends Sawyer Brown. Two of the songs were performed in conjunction with the drill team, so I guess I could lump that in as a highlight after all. I really did have a good time catching up with Bill, though. He has a job interview in Boston this week and I couldn't be more excited for him. The interview is with a liberal arts college and it sounds like a pretty keen job.

I haven't cracked Other Voices, Other Rooms yet but that is on this week's To-Do List. But the first thing on the To-Do List? Tonight's epsidoe of The Sopranos.
