ahh the irony.

Aug 04, 2008 20:18

I find today rather ironic, after reading enigmatic_wind spazz and caps lock post about the latest Vampire Knight chapter where Zero's smexiness and badass-ness upped by another 100 levels.

We had lunch at one of the newer noodle shops behind our college's main block and as the waiter (who could also pass off as those super tomboy girls idk) was taking our orders, I couldn't help but notice his nametag.

And his name? It's ZERO.

I had to resist the urge from bursting into laughter! ;_; But anyways, said waiter is a far cry from the Kiriyuu Zero we know so yeah. :P

Oh, and a meme!

piratelicker asked for nesquik, takahashi naozumi, tegomass, nurarihyon no mago, miyata kouki, kamen rider den-o, harukanaru toki no nakade

1. nesquik - It's a chocolate drink that I absolutely fell in love with when I first visited my relatives in Sydney, Australia during my childhood. It's not so thick as Milo but much sweeter and has a different taste altogether. It sends me to heaven everytime I drink it T^T Unfortunately it's hard to find here, so every time my relatives come back to KL I ask them to buy at least 2-3 large tins to last me for a year. :P

2. takahashi naozumi - A seiyuu, most noted for his Neoromance involvement. At first I didn't really care too much about his role as Inori in Haruka1 or Marui in Tenipuri, but as Hinoe, WHOAH HE GREW ON ME ALRIGHT. Now he's probably jumped the ranks as one of my favourite seiyuu ever, along with Miyata Kouki. I dunno, it's just aural bliss to me whenever I listen to his drama CD tracks as Hinoe and my pathetic vocabulary can't describe how sexy his voice can be at times. ;A; He can also sing really well imho... So here lies a perfect opportunity to pimp one of my favourite songs of his! Shakunetsu no Amaki Kariudo (灼熱の甘美き狩人) from the Harutoki3 Kurenai no Tsuki Vocal Collection. ♥ Give it a listen. ;D (this song has been meltin' me ears ever since I gave it a listen)

3. tegomass - Yes, I love Johnny's. :P Tegoshi Yuuya and Masuda Takahisa are two members from NEWS who sort of formed a subgroup of their own (and they can REALLY sing IMHO). I fell in love with them after hearing their song "Chocolate" and also became a Tegoshi fangirl at the same time. Their music has this happy, laid back and ska sound to them and never fails to uplift your spirits! Oh, not to mention that most of their song lyrics are terribly sweet and melts my shoujo heart heh.

4. nurarihyon no mago - It's a manga about a young boy (Rikuo) who has a quarter of his grandfather's blood, who happens to be the leader of all demons in Japan. And he transforms into this super awesome kickass demon bishonen at night. Unfortunately, poor Rikuo doesn't really want to accept this fate of his and it's a very amusing read (all the demons have very colourful personalities ♥). It's serialized in Shonen JUMP but I don't think that many people know about it. :/

5. miyata kouki - Also another seiyuu which I've liked for a long time already. It amazes how this guy can sound as if he's on helium and in the next minute, switch his voice to a really low ikemen voice. He grew on me when I got into the Neoromance fandom, oh durrr. My favourite roles of his would include Benkei (Harutoki3; shittt this particular voice of his makes me go kyunkyun), Kantarou (Tactics) and Hanatarou (Bleach)3

6. kamen rider den-o - WHO CAN NOT LIKE MONSTERS (somewhat) WITH VERY WONDERFUL PERSONALITIES AND VOICED BY A+ SEIYUU? I never expected that I'd actually like a Kamen Rider series, ever. But Den-O's got a pretty nice cast of characters and cheesy story overall, and kept me entertained for a good portion of the year before. 8D

7. harukanaru toki no nakade - A renai game/series that focuses on the ancient Japan themes, which I so adore. <3 It always revolves around the main heroine ending up as the Ryuujin no Miko (Dragon Priestess) and she always has her Hachiyou (8 guardians) by her side to protect her AND also to fall in love with lolollllllll. It's a renai game after all! I don't ever regret getting into this series and have never looked back. ;D Each of the characters all grew on me and Harutoki3 still remains as my most favourite installation of this series (despite not completing ALL of the Hachiyou endings), because the story and the characters are so made of win. <33333 I can seriously go on and on AND on about Harutoki but I think I'll spare my flist the details unless anyone asks further. :O
