To love or not to love

So...I've been guilty of telling people I love them...when I really don't...it's my problem really...I feel the need to please everyone without thinking about it...funny thing? Haven't told my parents I love them in years...Don't think I even do...I don't know...I purposely avoid it....my response is always "Well of course you do..." or "Everyone ( Read more... )

Oh man, the geekier the better! The other day I was actually caught quoting Worf in a comment on my friend's LJ. Apparently, I win the nerd contest.

You don't speak Klingon do you? I myself was in a discussion about world peace and started reciting the prime directive... :D

Actually, I probably am that nerdy, just in other areas. I'm fairly new to Star Trek, though; it's on a lot during the times I'm home now, so it's a definite possibility for the future!

heh...Next thing you know...a year from now you will be handing out Klingon love poems and translating Classic literature into Klingon...heh...

Hmm..

I demand that you write some Klingon haikus! :D Those haikus would definitely steal the title of nerdiest haiku away from the haiku about haikus. And I bet that's the most times anyone has ever said "haiku" in a sentence.

"tlhIngan Hol yIgItlh"
'e' muqaDpu' freaky_eggplant
vaj vIgItlhta'qu'

translation also in haiku form:

"write in Klingon language"
freaky_eggplant challenged me that
so I did write it!

I wish I knew sign language! I know a teeny bit. In fact, I'm writing you a poem right now; you just can't see it! But it's not a haiku. Because hand gestures don't have syllables.

lol...I know a bit of sign language...like "I can see clearly now the rain is gone..."

Yay for summer fun...

I know a bit more hand gestures...but I'm told their not very nice... -_-

Let me really write a haiku for you...

A hand-written poem
grasping air instead of ink
sign for me again
