I just woke up and played with the hotel some more. There is a full bar and a stock of glasses and such if friends want to come over and drink. There is a Christian bible as well as uh, I don't even know what religion it is. But there's a bible for it here! And it's only those two. |D
Near the bed is a remote control for every light in the place, and if you want to toggle your room on as ready to be cleaned, buttons for room service, etc. Five star stuff at $170 for a full week.
I gotta come back to this place. :)
Yesterday I had lunch with co-workers, and to get there I drove on the back of one of their motorcycles. I'm glad I've been through some fucking awesome close calls in Cali on my bike, because it didn't bug me at all to be two inches away from a retaining wall on one side and one inch away from a three wheeled passenger vehicle on the other. I've not yet seen an accident here either with all this awesomeness going on.
Today at work we're having a teambuilding event, much like the trip to a shooting range before Burning Man, only we're going to a beach resort together to party there. I'm definitely bringing my camera to that one. Also yesterday another teambuilding event was mentioned: traveling to Goa. Unfortunately, it'd be a week after I got back to California, and after thinking about it I'd rather not be with my co-workers if I went there.
I'd so love to come back here with friends sometime. We could hire a nice cook and maid, get an apartment for a month, and live like fuckin' kings. |D
Off to shower and get this thing rolling! Eggs with curry for breakfast is also omg delightful. |D
