India Wewt!
Well, after 22 hours of flying, I'm here in mah hotel! It's pretty kickass. Initial impression?
The expectations others had were a bit harsh. The roads are not totally awful, the bathroom does not consist of a hole in the ground, and everything is not amazingly OMG cheap. The cars have the steering wheel on the opposite side as us, people drive wherever the hell they want (but I saw a turn signal in use, better than you fuckin' California!) and they honk their horns just to let someone know they are nearby. I actually like the lack of rules at all. You have to actually pay attention to what is going on and drive accordingly. As my driver blew a red light when no-one else was around, I commented to him that I wish things worked that way in the states.
My luggage was missed though, and I have to pick it up tomorrow. Oops no clothes! I may wander around and try to hook some up! ;)
I actually got an assload of rest on the plane because I got a whole row to myself, so I'm ready to go now rawr!
