[ Niou removes the blade from the blender and examines it closely. His screwdriver opens its eyes to do the same. ]

Considering hostin' my own version of 'Will It Blend?' from the Rocket kitchen because I'm fucking bored. And I have a blender.

[Well, that sounds sufficiently explosion-free. He wanders over amiably, and wrinkles his nose.]

Why are you bothering with a real one? You have a ditto.

I can't blend my Ditto if my Ditto is the blender.

[ Pause. ]

That sounded kinda philosophical.

Oh dear. You know boredom is kicking in when Niyuu starts waxing. Next thing you know, he'll be ruminating on the allegory of the cave.

[He picks up one of the wayward parts of the blender and examines it absently.] Which we're going to explore, by the way, if they don't do anything in the next few days. Didn't you say you wanted that charmander?

[ Niou resumes his methodical disassembly. ] Yeah, I do.

[ He pauses to consider the motor of the blender. ] You think they'll let us just ditch, or do we have to sneak out?

[reimprovise]

I'm expecting the latter, really. [He's never particularly had much of an affinity with technology, however, and blenders don't particularly interest him. In time, he replaces the blender part that he had been examining beforehand, and moves onto rummaging through drawers.]

But isn't that the desired outcome, anyhow? I thought half the fun was the element of secrecy.

Oh, sure, but sneakin' out when you're not sneakin' from anyone is kinda... gay.

[ He plugs the blender in and pokes at a stripped button experimentally with his screwdriver, turning it on. ]

You'd rather have them disapprove? [There's a distinct lack of knives, which somewhat amuses him. He frowns anyway.] Can't we just assume that they disapprove? Cut out the middle man. Three-fourths less of a hassle, and everyone is happier all-round.

[ He peers into the running motor and turns it up higher. ] Good point. Assuming they disapprove, then, how long do we wait for them to respond to our prompt before we ditch?

[reimprovise]

Oh? Are you planning on ditching for good? Or do you just want them to chase for the sake of it?

It's more fun if they chase, isn't it? [ Turning the blender off now and reassembling it. ]

But yeah, I figure gettin' out for a few days and catching a Charmander should take the edge off. We can come back afterward and see if shit's goin' on.

Point. Has Sugar picked up on any new and exciting pokemon forms lately? Preferably one that can run like heck, but I'm not picky.

Did get that Onix outta Mammon before she left. Cost me, but Onix is pretty fast. Besides that, though, nothin' new.
