Another to add to my short list of music I would actually like to see live!
So after a long, long period of not having any music that really struck my interest, I have finally found an oasis - an audio haven!!!
Okinawan techno.
I didn't think it existed! I thought I totally made up the genre when punching it into Google for kicks. The Higa Chuu preview at the end of Absolute King Rikkai 2nd Service made me remember how much I totally love Okinawan music (LIKE IN THE POKEMON SNAP GAMES AMIRITE - also on a side note, I will do anything for Nintendo to make another Pokemon Snap).
I came up with Ryukyudisko.

First off, I love their name; Ryukyu is the old way of saying Okinawa ♥ Their compositions are lovely, their remixes are PHENOMENAL (HELLO, they remixed m-flo's Vanessa, which I totally love, Orange Range, Ram Rider, Uverworld, etc). Speaking of which, I learned that Orange Range is also based in Okinawa. I also learned that Ram Rider also makes great music (AND REMIXES lol m-flo's Love me after 12AM remix amirite *A*) and is almost a Japanese version of Daft Punk.
So adding all of this together with my refound love for Perfume and B'z (DEEP KISS :*) puts my ears in a pretty happy place.
PS I need Higa (KITE♥♥♥) icons lol
