!!
well its been quite a while since my last LJ post, but then again not a whole lot fo interesting things have happened since my last pst, until now lol
school has been okay, although this quarter sucks more than last cause i have no fun class (the closest thing to it is math) but the good thing is that i just finished my first round of midterms! so far ive only gotten one back and it was bio and i got a 79, which isnt bad considering the average was 58 :-/
anyways nothing too exciting up until last weekend when i went to san jose and spent the weekend with my friend amy, cause it was her birthday. so on friday went to amy's old high school, oak grove, to pick up her bff silvia (which i think some of u have met) and then we went to the oakridge mall which was a ver nice mall, then to in-and-out for my very first burger there. all i can say is that it was awesome, cheap and i want another one lol. then after dropping off silvia amy's bf loc came and we just hung out and watched tv.
then sat morning i awoke to amy's little sis tanya karakeing which was an interesting way to wake up. so then got ready and my other friend nelly (amy's roomie) showed up and since the food wasnt ready yet, we went to kfc and got some food. then ppl arrived at her house.
so most of teh day consisted of playing guitar hero (the kids kept playing "i love rock'n'roll" and "ironman" which was very annoying) and karake DDR style (which i didnt do cause i cant sing at all) and also we played this cool board game called betrayl oh the house on the hill or somthing like that. but it was fun to play. then the usual party activities (cake, presents, etc). but then at night we just started goofing around and it was quite amusing. also saw one of amy's friends play the end of "fatal frame" which was crappy and then we saw "silent hill" which wasnt that bad actually.
then sunday morning didnt hear my phone go off which was weird, then got dressed and went to eat Pho, which was also good. then we went to the eastridge mall (which looks kinda like sunvalley mall) and then after that came back to sc.
so monday was okay then yesterday i had the SWITCHFOOT concert which was HELLA fun!!!

so the concert was awesome, and i bought a shirt and poster :-D
then after we headed to the metro to catch a bus back to ucsc, but it left right as we got there which sucked. so while waiting for the bus, one of john's friend comes with a switchfoot cd signed. so we were like wtf?!?! where did u get that? as it turns out the band was signing stuff behind the catalyst (place we saw them) so we ran over there and only the lead signer jon was still there. so he very kindly (although he looked hella tired) signed my shirt and my poster and took a pic with me and amy.

so i had loads fun, but the sucky thing was that i had to study for my midterm that i had this morning. i hope i didnt fail it, but if i do, it was totally worth going to the concert.
