(no subject)
I'd been trying to do some more cleaning/organizing/setup, and have made more good progress, but not without some footballs to the groin.
First; My buddy Bill gave me a bunch of software to help me get started with some projects I wanted to work on, but I can not figure out how to get it installed/to work, which stinks. Not the end of the world, but I'll have to watch the budget a little more closely over the next month, as to invest in some new stuff (fortunately, I still have some old CD's to sell off, not to mention a birthday and that tax rebate kajigger to help).
I got a notice yesterday saying I have to go to a Job Search workshop for my unemployment (stating "your eligibility for unemployment benefits may be jeopardized if you fail to report"), in Hackensack, which I have NO desire to go to (between not wanting to have to go to something where I'll potentially just sit there and have someone tell me "YOU'RE DOING THINGS WRONG", to having to dig up my social security card, not to mention Hackensack is a pain in the ass to get to). I sent an e-mail asking if the Jersey City building is walkable from the PATH or light rail, and if so, could I go there instead.
I also have to go renew my drivers license, which is semi-ironic, considering I hate driving.
On the plus side, I officially printed on a DVD, so I made progress. I was thinking of officially starting the new blog tomorrow, but I don't know if I want to when I feel like there are so many pains in the ass. I will think about it tonight I suppose.
