First off *tacklesyou!* Hello, my lovely. I miss you! Even though I know you're like me, real life is SO crazy and as much as I come here to keep up to everyone, I rarely actually post. I'm trying harder to do so this year too though!
Dude, we share a lot of shows!!
LOVE Being Human, although I did prefer the original Mitchell from the pilot, I've come around a bit. :) I love almost everything about it, especially the dynamic of family the three have. I've been waiting anxiously for season 3 to air. My one complaint about BBC shows is the length of time between seasons - probably made worse by the fact that a season for them is to tiny compared to a season here. But dear sweet George, tortured yet somehow still freaking hot Mitchell and lost, sad Annie are so wonderful together. I'm probably not going to watch the US version, just because any show that has to use a Twilight reference as a hook to get people to watch stands a fair chance of ruining what I love about the show. I`ll try it, of course, but....low expectations, I guess.
BBC owns a huge chunk of my heart with Dr. Who and Merlin as well. The Christmas special for Dr. Who was just beautiful. I didn`t expect to love #11 so much, but he's got such HEART. Every heartbreak #10 went through somehow reflects off him. And Merlin - those boys are growing into wonderful men and I love the nods to the real legend. The season ender for 3 made me cry a little, it was so well done. Silly boys who are showing the men they shall become. :)
Bones, Castle, House, Glee, so many great shows on now! I can't even imagine the Office without Michael, but we shall see I suppose. Perhaps he'll ride off into the sunset with Holly and that'll help ease the pain. My number one still is, and always will be, Supernatural. I don't listen to too much and even when I think they're nuts, they always pull it off. I love the characters and how they've developed. I really want to party with 'Soulless!Sam' cuz he's SO much fun. I look forward to the remaining season, and the ones that will probably follow. Jensen said they were contracted through 7 for sure, so it's up to the CW.
Anyhow, I've rambled on long enough!!
((hugs))
I'll think of you sometimes when watching the shows - you're one of the few in the same time zone!!!

HI YOU! Yeah, real life is just insane and by the time I get some free time to myself, one of the last things I want to do is actually write about it all. Let's try and change our posting habits in 2011, k?

Yes! Mitchell from the original pilot! I loved him, too! But, you know, the current Mitchell brings a whole different vibe and I think he works really well, and he's pretty f'n hot, too. I think it's stupid to do an adaptation while the original is still on the air, and almost disrespectful. I won't watch the US version until the UK version is over, if even then. But yeah, I need to finish up season 2 before season 3 starts, maybe this weekend!

Isn't 11 wonderful? He's like a little kid, with such an old soul, which is really the epitome of who the Doctor is.

That season finale for Merlin was the best of the series by far, the whole round table and and Excalibur bit, it all made me weepy. It was brilliant.

I think SPN could've easily ended after 5 and I would've been very satisfied, so I was waiting to see how they could do season 6 when they had pretty much beaten the biggest evil ever. But it's been interesting, and believable, with everything they've been through. They had to find a new way for the boys to relate, and they did just that, and it's been fun to watch Sam and Dean almost completely switch roles.

*hugs* We'll post more and talk more about all of this in the coming year. :)

Definitely - we need to stay in touch. :)
Yes, yes to Matt Smith. He really nails it. Or the writers do, not sure if it's possibly both! So much love.
I adore Mitchell from the series - he can nibble on my neck anytime...lol. I did watch the American version of the show today, but eh. I'm so damn picky about my vampires. (Hellooooo Damon...)
I must admit I watch Space a lot when puttering in the kitchen, which brings me SO many awesome shows like Eureka & the lovely Dr. on a regular basis. OH, have you watched Primeval? It's kinda cool too.
