Broad stripes and bright stars...
I would normally be pulling for the Lakers in the finals tonight. I know, I know, everyone hates the Lakers (hi Koko). But they're my hometown team, and I had a really big love for them in the Magic/Kareem/Worthy/Green days that's actually quite hard to shake - they're like a default setting for me. But on the other side of the court, I have JJ 
, and I want so much for him to succeed. So I'm kindof torn.
But I'm going to forget about that for now and focus on the fact that Kris is going to sing the National Anthem before Game 2 on Sunday! MEEP. Remember how nervous DCook was last year? Oh dear. But someone reminded me that Kris has said that he much prefers big crowds to smaller ones, so hopefully that'll work for him.
In other news, I just had a really good sandwich. Go team me.
I'll leave you with Kris singing "Yesterday" on a show I wish he hadn't appeared on. But again, we focus on the pretty instead of the headachey, because he sounds really good. :)
