It really hurts me to see so many of my friends bothered by the "fandom" these days, especially today. I know most of the fans are insane, but really, it's like this in just about every fandom there is. I've been around them for a long time and no matter where you go, the same basic structure is there. Haters, believers, optimists, pessimists, angels and devils, they all co-exist in every fandom there is. It's truly a microcosm of life. Maybe I've just seen enough of it to let them roll off my back, or maybe I'm just being extremely selfish and not giving a damn what anyone says about anyone.

Dude. It's so simple sometimes.
Not one single person, no matter how twat-y they're acting, will ever change that. Never will one person, or even a group of people, ever sway me from the complete and utter love and adoration I feel for those beautiful, sparkly boys. And I will never hope that the boys don't get back together just because of their dumbass fans. That logic escapes me, frankly. I'm sure the guys have run-ins with bad fans, but they also have run-ins with GREAT fans as well. They have a lot of good in their lives, and we're part of that too.
I will not let those negative people bring me down. I choose to not let them get to me. I choose to ignore them. And I'm so sorry to all my friends who this is hurting these days. It just shows that you all have hearts bigger than any of those horrible people who are doing this. If I were into the advice-giving game, I'd say to just let them be, because karma's a bitch.
