so i needed another job. cuz tutoring a couple nights a week wasn't cutting it for me. Monday night i was taking the easy way out and doing online apps to places, and i figured i wouldn't get any of the jobs i was applying for. and then wednesday i get a call asking for an interview at borders bookstore downtown. so today (thursday) i go down there at 2 and meet the guy who does all the interviews. then he calls in another guy and i sit with him and answer random "situation" questions. and then theres another guy. and i'm like "dude, intensive interview process." in the mean time they've all managed to ask who i'm reading lately (chaim potok) and who i'm listening to (decemberists/explosions in the sky) and what i think about the election. WTF!?!?!? who really needs to know this to work there?? so i leave and head to my tutoring job. btw, i leave there around 3. i get to tutoring just before 6 and the first guy who interviewed me calls and says that i start monday. hello holiday rush! i love it.

so i wanted to talk about the music in my head a little bit too, cuz i have the song evil by interpol in my head. it's stuck there because every time i watch a cooking show they end up putting rosemary into whatever dish and that's the first thing you hear in the song after the bass line lead in. and it's all rachel;s fault. don't ask how. it just is.
