I no longer like christmas. In fact, i think i hate it. It's nothing but people buying shit for people they ignore 11 months of the year, in an attempt to make themselves feel more generous. I hate the obligational present giving. How is it an act of kindness if it is practically mandated. I hate obligations of all sorts, they take the passion out of life. I hate getting presents, all they do is make me feel guilty, because i dont believe the same things other people do. Can't we all just act normal toward each other all year long rather than shitty for 364 days and obnoxiously and falsely nice on the 25th day of the 12th month?
I dont know...like i said, i just hate feeling obligated to do something i would normally take joy in doing on my own.
