wow... 19
Hey, so today was my big 19th bday! lol. It was nice because my birthday actually fell during my spring break, so I got to spend it with my family and friends, which is a big plus. This morning (noon o'clock) I went bowling with a bunch of friends from highschool (jules, danni, nicki, vendetti, susan, kyle hill, nate, janet, and a couple of danni's friends from uw). I miss those guys so much, so it was wonderful to see them all again. Then we went to Woodinville and some of us got jamba juice (the poor kids) and the other kids got Mongolian (the ones with money, lol) We were SOOO loud, but totally fun.
My family never really does anything big for peoples birthdays cause we're usually all so busy with other things, but this year my dad skipped his class and eric and dave both got off work, so we all got to be together. We were planning to go to Bobby's Hawaiian Style restraunt (they're old friends) but they closed early *sad* so instead we went to L & L (another hawaiian restraunt). I had spam (yes SPAM) saimin and stole some of dave's chicken katsu. Then we came home and opened PRESENTS! I got
-A new foam matress pad (because my bed at home SUCKS!)
-Irish breakfast tea (mom's inside joke)
-Lady and the Tramp dvd from dave YES!!!!
-gum and lots of lip balm (at WWU gum is $1.19 and I refuse to pay for it at that price, so eric bought me like 4 packs! lol, and the lip balm was burt's bees which isn't cheap either, so that's always appreciated)
-And then my mom is going to take me on a spring clothes mini-shopping spree. new clothes HURRAY!!!!
So yeah, that's all i did today, I liked it though. I'm still really burnt out from finals, plus I had a sinus infection so I'm just now starting to feel better. Relaxation is key.
Other things I have done this break:
-Saw Melissa and Andy!
-Hung out with Nicki, Scott Cherry, Chris Roberts and Andy on St. Patty's Day
-Andy took me out to dinner for my bday to Mongolian grill and then I treated him to a Dick's shake (he wasn't happy about that...)
-Went and got coffee with kyle, anthony, and jules
-Went shopping with my mom and got LOTS of yummy asian food and fruit.
yup, so far that's been my break. Nothing too amazing, but WONDERFUL none the less.
