I'm loading the video, and all I see right now is the page title: "YouTube - A Woman's Right to Choose - Japan."
Uh oh. *Takes a deep breath* Iwon'tbejudgemental. I won'tbejudgdmental.
........
Hokay. Can I laugh? I mean, am I allowed to do that?
"They're afraid it might make women promiscuous." YOUR WOMENZ ARE ALREADY PROMISCUOUS, A-DUHRRR! I understand what a giant the Japanese health government peoplefolk may be, but how can it be more difficult than, say, breaking the Senate to sign off on a bill? You get huge industries and thousands of people behind you, and eventually, they crack. My only thought is that the Japanese moral code is hindering the whole process of obtaining a stable, legal, sensible birth control. Mannerisms and politeness prevent people from giving the real, necessary push to get things done.
I don't know, really. I'm kind of giggly, 'cause this is just so ridiculous and, honestly, disturbing. I almost want to fly over there just to hand out boxes of the pill and NuvaRings.
I probably should have disclaimered the video with "this is not a pro-life rant against Japanese abortions, but a video on the stupidity of the Japanese health system and its refusal to provide women with actual CHOICES."
