Inspiration get! :D

~.: I love 1:00 in the morning. So I'm sitting here in bed, worrying about this whole job thing and wondering what I'm going to do about this group, when I have a sudden blaze of inspiration. I have the first session done! :D Including homework and discussion (I'm actually really proud of the homework/activity I came up with- during group, we're going to discuss things that define us (each person will list things that they feel define them), and their homework assignment will be to make a "have done list" at the end of each day (which is a list of things they've done that day, like "go to work/school," "cook dinner for family," "pass out in a drunken stupor") and after a few days, they have to reflect and decide if the things they do on a daily basis reflect how they define themselves; the discussion of the homework during the second session will comprise going around and asking if it all matches up, and if yes, what does it mean and if no, what does it mean, or does it mean anything at all- the whole purpose being to reflect on one's self and one's perception of one's self). To follow up with this, in session two, I think we're gonna play a role-playing/reversal game (well, allowing for number of people in the group and space :/), though I'm still working out the bugs and kinks for this. I may have to look something up.

~.: See, I'm excited now. :D I just hope that this is what Marianne had in mind, but hopefully, if I get all these sessions planned out soon, I can send her a copy of my notes and plans and see if she has anything to add or suggest. I only hope my inspiration and excitement don't wear off any time soon. :x
