I FEEL like I'm making progress

~.: Today's the first day that I've actually been able to speak with people about jobs. I'm about to apply to one that was listed up on Craig's List for people who are looking for experience in a therapeutic setting (which I am), so I'll be faxing my resume and cover letter to them as soon as I can print them out. Then I have to fax my reference forms to Diane from my internship and have her fill those in and mail them, and then hopefully I'll be off next Friday so I can go and get my TB test and finally be done applying for a job as a substitute teacher in Spotsylvania County. -.- Let's see ... I'm also trying to apply for a job at Snowden, which is a branch of behavioral health associated with Mary Washington Hospital. I called the number to the place, since the hospital's jobline is a long list of RN positions. ><" They pointed me to Human Resources, which pointed me to the employment director of Snowden. I left her a message and hopefully she'll be getting back to me.

~.: Once that's done, I'll make my rounds on Careerbuilder, Monster, MonsterTRAK, and Craig's List, possibly Google. Really, looking for a job is work in itself. But I believe in me. Plus, Layne's and Aileen's success have given me hope and optimism (see, my friends should get jobs more often, because they always inspire me to work hard). -rolls up her sleeves- GANBARIMASU YO! ^O^v

job hunt, busy
