People don't generally think of fish as finicky or picky in any way. They should eat just about anything, right? Fish flakes, pellets, whatever you toss in their bowl, they're expected to eat it. And for a while Momo was pretty good (when I fed him ^^;), but lately he isn't eating. I was like "omigosh! he's sick!" but after doing some research on these aquarium sites and "how to care for your beta" sites, I'm getting the feeling that Momo isn't sick at all, just picky. He refuses to eat. I've tried feeding him and he pops his food right out of his mouth like "ewww ... what the crap is this?" and I'm like "but, Momo, you've been eating that for the past two and a half months ;o;". Everyone is saying that I should let him eat something else, but I don't wanna have to go and spend my money on brine shrimp and blood worms. He's a fish for crying out loud! It's like, who's taking care of whom here, hmm?? Well ... if he doesn't eat later when I try to feed him tonight, it looks like my weekend project will be to go out and hunt me down some blood worms. No way I'm spending my whole paycheck on brine shrimp (I actually have no idea how much they cost ^^;).
**sigh**
So right now I'm just sitting here, wondering when Momo is gonna eat, if he'll eat at all, and waiting for my cookies to finish. I'm bringing them in for our friendly friday thing (did I mention that already??). And now I just burned my hand on the oven. -_- **looks at it** Lucky for me, I've been burned so often that I know how to just block out the pain. This one's blistering up already, but, meh, can't feel it. If I'm lucky it'll scar. **continues to look at it** It's kinda cool actually.
I should probably get off of here before I get so distracted that my cookies get burned too. **listens to her rumbling tumbly as the smell of baking chocolate chip cookies wafts her way** Murr v_v"
Ack~! Now it hurts. o.o
meh,
fish,
