King's Fest Report
~.: Yeah, didn't get a chance to do this after everyday like I wanted to. Probably had something to do with being extremely exhausted.
~.: I don't even know where to begin with how awesome the concerts were, especially Family Force 5, tobyMac, and Skillet. Though, I'd have to say that this year, my favorites were absolutely the first and last of those three mentioned. Especially Family Force 5. I totally got into those guys all over again, especially now that I can tell them apart and know their various stage names (but Soul Glow Activator has always been my favorite). I didn't know that two of them were identical twins. That's kind of friggin' awesome. I'm gonna be taking a trip over to their MySpace sometime this coming week to watch all of their Really Real Show episodes and to familiarize myself with their EVERYDAY LIVES~~ I feel their bandom calling to me. Not in an obnoxious way (oh, jeez, I hope I don't ever become obnoxious). Just in the obsessive I really love this band way. :3
~.: Despite three days of hxc rocking out and being extremely exhausted, I still suffered from insomnia last night. I did everything I could to try to fall asleep, including reading a magazine (interestingly enough, featuring Red and Kutless, two other bands that played), and a few chapters out of Labyrinth. I didn't get to sleep finally until after 5. I went to bed at midnight. That ain't right.
~.: So I have an extremely busy day today. I fly out for Mom's tomorrow afternoon (but we still have to leave here at quarter till 5 so Dad can be to work on time- he'll be bringing me to the airport from there). I have to wash all my clothes and pack them, wash my sheets that Sarah and I skanked up from sleeping in my bed without showering (gross, I know, but exhaustion is pretty powerful, yeah?), and possibly move stuff into the basement. I can't wait to put up my posters, which probably won't happen until I get to school, since I won't be here to enjoy them on the walls. That's okay. I'm just really looking forward to having John Cooper from Skillet, tobyMac, and Family Force 5 on my walls~~~ :D
