Offensive gum!!

~.: Apparently it is offensive to set a purchased pack of gum on the counter for the customer to pick up instead of personally handing it to them with a cheerful smile. Yeah. Seriously. A woman bought a pack of gum, and I asked her if she wanted it in a bag. When she said no, I set it down on the counter and turned back to the register to tell her what the total was. Instead of picking up the pack of gum from the counter, she reaches over, grabs a different pack of gum (the same kind, just a different pack) from the rack and throws it into her purse.

"Did you wanna buy both packs, ma'am?" I ask her.

"No, but that's very offensive and ain't gonna fly."

"....."

~.: Yeah. I don't even know.

~.: I have a dentist appointment tomorrow morning. I'm not looking forward to it, mostly because I'm not thrilled about the "you haven't been to the dentist in how long?" I'm bound to get. Yeah .... But on the plus side, I do get to get my cavity filled and maybe talk to them about Invisalign braces. :D

~.: And even more happy pieces of news. After tomorrow, I have four days off from work in a row!! Which means, Layne, that I can come up to your house any time between tomorrow night and your birthday. :DDDD And! King's Fest is in two weeks. -dancedance- I'm really excited about seeing Marcy ... I misses her~~~~
