Successful shop therapy ftw ^o^

~.: Yesterday, Layne and Becky came to pick me up, with Becky's niece Ashley in tow. After a tour of the house, we headed to Spotsy mall, where much successful shopping was had. I bought these cutest articles of clothing (and omg shoes), and while Dad and Kristie gave me that cautious look upon returning home that said I probably should've put my money towards something more useful (like, say, a car, or tuition), I politely reminded them that I would likely not have another outing like until after graduation. So.

~.: But yes, I bought this really awesome black top at Papaya, one of those really big baggy type deals with the itty bitty waist? Worn with skinny jeans, normally, but it looked friggin' hot on me. I also bought this really cute black dress with a pink, floral, somewhat empire waist belt type thing, and the same patterned little frilled along the bottom. Layne bought the same dress (because it was just that cute and it was like, $17), and the really cool thing is that we both got the exact same size. We can fit into each other's clothes now. I'm gonna really, really love living with her~~~ >DDD From Papaya, I also got this really cute hooded T-shirt that's decorated with black and pink stars. ♥ I also got the only AE shirt I will probably ever own, ever, but I had to get it, because it goes with my whole philosophy on life, and was just too cute. It's just plain white (hey there, Delilah >.o) with the words "For Love's Sake" written across the front.

~.: And then, after a pit stop at Red Robin, we returned to the mall, found it was closed, but we still wanted shoes, so we headed over to DSW where many pairs of heels were bought. I now have a pair of classy black heels to wear with the new black shirt I bought, or for my dress (not sure which I'm going to wear for Layne's birthday). I've also decided that I'm going to marry Steve Madden. His shoes are made of win.

~.: And now I have Edward back. The problem I sent him in for seems to be fixed (and it better be now that they've replaced the LCD (again) and the cable (again)). It might still be nice if my credit card company can force Dell to give me my money back. They gave me a conditional refund, and I'm guessing that's pending the investigation.

~.: Anyway, I've got laundry and stuff to do before work.

~.: Oh yeah! Finally finished Religious Literacy and am back to reading fiction. I missed fiction. This book I'm reading now (Labyrinth) seems to be pretty interesting, so I'm hoping it'll be a fast read.

~.: Okay, yeah, I'm done now. -nodnod-

edward, shopping, w00t, reading, yay, fun weekend
