I just hope I made the right decision

~.: So I ended up not taking Dolly to New York today. I had a change of heart about two hours into the drive (we weren't very far since an accident had 95 backed up for 30 miles) and decided to let Kristie's secretary's mother in law have her, since I hear she absolutely loves Dolly and would give her all of the love and attention she would need. Which is the most important part of this decision. I'm going to miss her, and I'm sad thinking about it. I love my Dolly ... but when I take myself out of the equation, keeping her in Virginia and letting someone else have her seems like the best option. I'm just trying not to think about it now. I'm putting up something of an emotional barrier and pretending like she's already not my cat anymore. It makes it easier. :/

~.: In other news, I have my shiny new laptop now (and it's basically amazing). It is shiny and silver and I named it Edward, because Edward is also shiny and has a silver car. And just when I had gotten attached to the name Frankenstein for that other machine I was using. Oh well ....
