Ooooo. What's the new singer like?

She's VERY good, but VERY different. Overall, there's less reliance on the female vocal (Marco sings lead in one track, and one track - a sorta folksy violin-led one - is instrumental), and it's weird to hear them with a non-opera vocalist, but I love it. Others have been funny about her, but she is a great vocalist, and the record is quintessentially Nightwish (think Once era - pomposity up to eleven with a nearly 14 minute opener). I genuinely love it. Listened to nothing else all weekend.
