Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen.... Oh dear god
Let me make this clear from the off. I liked the first Transformers flick. It was great fun. Idiotic popcorn fun, but a cool flick.
Transformers 2, however was just awful. A truly stinking film: meandering, directionless, puerile, borderline racist in places, grubby in its approach to its female lead, and painfully adolescent. It shat on the groundwork of the first one, and screwed up Transformers lore awfully.
It was like the first one has been mixed with the worst elements of Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest and The Phantom Menace.
What a terrible, terrible film that was.
