Stardust in (very brief) and a minor ANTMism

After feeling dissatisfied with the majority of 'big' films I've seen this year FINALLY a satisfying family film in 2007 in Stardust. Great cast, lovely looking, great direction, screenplay by Jane Goldman. Maybe dragged a touch in the last 20 mins (action scene was way too long), but really - what more could anyone want from a modern fairy tale? A solid 4/5 for me. Gaiman, Vaughn and Goldman should be thoroughly proud of this film.

Former Sell-Outers will understand the hot-links.

ANTM: Is it wrong that I'm starting to like Rene? She maybe evil-ish, but I kinda get the being prickly/defensive thing that often gets people's backs up. Warming to that one.

Err.. That's all.
