I am loving my classes so far. It's the stuff I really love and enjoy and want to do with my life (I think right now anyway). My teachers are great so far, and I am just excited to go to classes and clinicals. Women's bodies are just so interesting, there is always something changing, and getting to do labor and delivery stuff may be gross, but it has always amazed me. I'll get to work in the nursery and with the postpartum mothers as well. Then, I have infants and toddlers which is what I am signed up to do for my NP right now. I am looking forward to getting real experience in these areas and make a final decision as to what to plan on for the rest of my life. I am still having trouble deciding whether or not to switch my concentration from a pediatric NP to a family NP. If I go PNP, I have to work with kids, but if I do FNP, I can choose from there which I want to focus on and have the opportunity to switch back and forth as I get tired of one or the other. Such a tough decision since I am interested in both. We'll just have to see where this semester takes me, and which path I think will be best.
