There is far too much for me to cover for me to even begin to recount everything. I was away for one of the pre-Thanksgiving weekends, during which I think I may have created the best piece of art I've created so far. I think it might be something akin to the final straight up oil on canvas I'm probably going to do before I start focusing on my concentration in art, which is sequentials and animation, but you never know. It's an important piece to me, and I'm keeping it close. It's not for sharing.
I still haven't emailed my mom about Cora and Clarice. I know Ian had advice on how to bring them up which I've summarily forgotten over the course things.
I do know that I probably shouldn't have gone to Sammie's ghosthunt. Much as I love her, this is only further proof that I do stupid things when I'm bored. Clearly my connections to the supernatural are creepy enough that I don't need to be aggravating it. I am curious enough about my own personal ghosts though, to try and see if I can find further ways to communicate with them and learn more about who they are and how we can help each other.
I'm going to be one of Kindred's models for his latest project, the test work he's done so far on me is beautiful. I really like Kindred, and can't escape the feeling that we have more in common than we've had opportunity to discuss. And I think I've found the inspiration for the project that Wu asked me to work on. I'm going to work on a few test sketches and see what he picks. My WoW/BLAIRE sketch business continues apace, and I am well situated for paying for my Italy trip during the summer. We'll see if I go mad, overcome by the beauty of the likes of Venice and Rome.
Poetry Slam was a huge success. I spent the first part feeling like I was going to throw up, nearly fainted on stage, and then spent the latter half wanting to hide in a corner. Wu and Bram and everyone else were wonderfully supportive though, but the best part was bar none Ron's poem. He got such a wonderful reception for it! Even if apparently Howard Lovecraft apparently set him up - I saw him slip out the back at the last moment. As much as I love you Ron, you need to learn how to accept accolade when it's well deserved, and you deserved it, alright? I kind of wish Clive had been there, though.
More up and coming, of course. Busy busy Minnie. Thanksgiving's going to be interesting, as well as Human vs Zombie.
