Seattle has thus far been enormous, glorious fun. To those of you who gave me presents, thank you all so very much! And regardless of whether or not you did, I hope everyone has had wonderful holidays.
I took Wu to some of my favorite places: Pike Place Market, to see the Fremont Troll, and before we leave we're going to the Scifi Museum. We also went to a ferry party - basically a ferry that launches off into the Sound and stays out there for hours while the guests party the night away. Wu has also seen the Space Needle from the car several times.
As much as I am loving the break, at the same time I also can't wait for school to start again. I'm going to freeze my ass off, but I'll also finally be taking courses directly tied into my concentration: Sequential Art and Into to Animation. (This is in addition to Pop Lit, Life Drawing - which is a required course, feh - and Anatomy.) Monday through Thursday classes don't start until 10:30, on Friday my one class is not until 3 PM. Classes end at 4:30 for me all across the board, though on Tues and Thurs I have a roughly 3 and 1/2 hour section of free time in between my first and second class of the day. This may seem like oodles of free time, but with various projects to take care of, I suspect it'll be eaten up really quickly.
