Isn't this the year (2017) for the US to see a full eclipse--seems to me I read that recently. I want to say in August.

I would *love* to see the Northern Lights. Even pictures of them awe me.

Yes! On August 21st, a total solar eclipse will pass through the USA, from Oregon to South Carolina.

I'm skeptical of stage theories... too neat and orderly for my taste. But definitely, there is a lot of grief. It feels like a dream has died and we can't have any more illusions about our country. I just can't believe America could sink so low. (stage 1.) It's really hit me hard, as it has a lot of people.

Thanks for this. I know I'm not through all the stages of grief yet. I am fluctuating between anger and grief. I'm hoping to get to acceptance in some form but it's difficult. I'm worried but hopefully can channel that worry into productivity. Thanks for your entry and it's good to see you back!
