Hahah, wow...as outlandish as those sites seem, I can't deny that I have a strong feeling that we are not alone. I mean, seriously~ I'm certain that one or two of you have felt like you didn't belong here before and what better explanation for said feelings is there other than that we were placed on this earth by alien ancestors and that these 'visitations' are merely our ancients coming to visit us and oversee our progress.
Okay, sure, I'm not a 'firm' believer of that statement, but it's possible. As for 'progress', those aliens must be thinking that we, as humans, are probably the stupidest creatures to ever grace this universe because, unlike animals who fight other creatures to survive, we're too busy fighting and killing each other for things that aren't even necessary for life. If we do esteem ourselves to be 'more sophisticated' or 'greater' than the animals that also inhabit this planet, we really ought to pull things together.
And then with this whole 2012 nonsense. I mean, really, if the world is going to be blown sky high by Yellow Stone's volcano, then government officials mustn't really care much for humanity because no one seems to be doing anything about this impending danger, and I say impending because that volcano, unlike the stars realigning or having Earth visited by aliens, is probably going to happen and when it does we are all pretty much screwed.
Hahah, oh yes...if there isn't some mutual co-operation happening in the next few decades, someone save humanity. OTL
