Waste of my childhood~
Disney was a waste of my childhood.
It is a horrible influence on children. The Disney Princesses are not good role models for young girls as they only bolster the common stereotype of females needing to always wait for their prince charming, giving them false hopes and an overly romanticized view on life.
Also, what is up with Mickey Mouse owning a pet dog anyway? Animals owning other animals? What about Goofy? He's a dog too right? Way to encourage discrimination amongst species, Disney.
And, thanks for screwing up one of my favorite books. Your version of Alice in Wonderland was totally not like the book at aaaaallll DD<
Don't think it's just the animated movies that have issues. The Disney Channel is also at fault with all their teeny bopper shows which also don't give a realistic view on life. I mean...really. Real high school students don't randomly burst out into song and dance. And, a 15 year old living a double life as a famous popstar? Totally possible. She could be your next door neighbor!
And talk about commercialism. When was the last time you walked into a WalMart and DIDN'T see Hannah Montana's face plastered everywhere? And DisneyWorld the happiest place on earth? You'd think someone wouldn't charge so much just to provide someone with some happiness...And what are we paying for? Standing around for two hours in the stinging heat just for a five minute ride?
TL;DR: You suck, Disney.
