That is a direct quote from the Death Note dub. It's airing this Saturday night at 12 or 12:30 AM...i forget which XDD;
But apparently, Adult Swim already has the video up on their site XDD; So, I watched it there, just to hear what Viz did to my dearest Death Note u.u
I REALLY thought it was going to be sooo bad....especially with Light's voice...But...it turns out, it was actually pretty good ^^
After seeing the preview trailer like...several months ago...I was REALLY worried about how Viz would do Light's voice...cause...in that trailer...it didn't sound that good XDDDD;...like...at all...
Light's voice actor did a pretty good job. I'm still not completely sold on it yet though. He was just okay. I'm sure I'll get used to the voice as I continue to watch the series though. Also, it's only the first episode. The voice actor will get used to Light's character sooner or later. ^^ He actually started getting better towards the end of the episode I think XDD;
Oh yeah...English!Light's laugh is like...really weird O___o....
I LUUURVE Ryuk's voice!! O____O
At first, I thought it sounded really weird, especially in the beginning of the episode. But during that whole scene with Light and when he's explaining the Death Note, that was when I started to really like the voice. The way Ryuk's lines were delivered were just...i don't know...really cool I guess XDDD;
Overall, I think it was pretty good. I'm not cringing or anything at anyone's voice yet, so that's a good sign. XDDD; I'm optimistic for this dub now xDDD; I'm sure it'll be alright.
