Friday I went to the first big Cornish party of the year. It was nice being around people from my school. Maybe tomorrow I will recognize a few faces. When I moved up here in August, I made a lot of non-Cornish friends, which I am glad for but I also want to have school friends as well.
I have encounterd endless amounts of people in my life, but there are only certain ones I call friends. Even though I've lost contact with some of these people and they are renamed "distant consorts," I still "have them" in some way. Filling the gaps in my shadow, they are.
