Announcements and Reminders
Welcome back from the summer break! Hopefully you enjoyed AnthroCon, the Fourth of July holiday, or the relaxing time away from voting and/or campaigning. We would like to share with you the following:
- The 24 fursuits that were eliminated in the Regional Opening Round all received a consolation prize in the form of artwork: a headshot icon by up-and-coming artist Orlando Fox. Those icons were collected together into a Fursuit Bingo card that was freely distributed for the attendees of AnthroCon, with reserve copies set aside for each of the fursuits' owners who requested one. Here's what it looked like.
- Picture headshot thumbnail icons of the remaining 128 competitors were all put on a mini-poster of the regional bracket. Signatures of some of those fursuiters were collected at AnthroCon, while a few more will potentially be added at Midwest FurFest. The final signed poster will be donated to the charity auction at either MFF or FC, depending on who else would like to add their signature to the poster.
