Life update
So I am back in school now, attempting to learn myself how to be a good english teacher. I already love my Young Adult Lit class, even if it will consume every free waking moment for the rest of the semester, and I already can’t stand my Linguistics teacher because I feel she’s a 300 year old fossil who probably should have stopped teaching when the eraser became a standard option on all graphite pencils. I guess that’s just a part of the game we play called College, I guess that’s why they don’t just hand out degrees to everyone who enrolls. Wish me luck, Universe, as I open a new chapter in my life.
On a lighter note, my nephew just had his 1st birthday party this last weekend and it was awe-some. He can sorta eat solid foods and sorta say words now, which only magnifies his adorable factor to an infinite integer. Also, he has become more interactive with the people around him. Laughing when he thinks something is funny, mimicking the gestures of anyone in front of him. I played peek-a-boo for a solid half hour and he still wanted more, but I missed the peek-a-boo training camp in the off-season so I had to get taken out of the game.
Not a ton of point or extra meaning in this post, just wanted to let people know what’s going on in my life.
