Considering how much fun this past cruise was, I am curious how many of you who went in 09 would likely go again this year? Would be fun to get the whole crew (plus others) together again for round 2, hehe.
I certainly would love to go!! Alas, coming in from Canuckistan makes it a tad harder to do (customers are a [expletive deleted] lately, especially by plane...). Also, as crazy as it sounds, I'd need to financially plan for it, not to mention somehow get the time off from work (that's another really hard part...). Knowing how much the cruise itself is (not hard if I look at previous posts) and how much to expect to pay while on the boat would be a great help to know if I can afford it or not. :X
Although i have doubts to make it in 2010, I'm certainly working towards 2011 (I hate having to wait that long, honest!!!).
just FYI i will be putting up a vote on this years cruise options in about a month so that can give you an idea of how much it would cost for the cruise itself. as for what you pay out on the ship i would say if you went relly cheep and dident buy alot of drinks got the soda package and for the cost of tips your looking at about $100-150 on ship. now if you want to do shore cruises and a bunch of "extra cost" stuff on the ship your looking to pay more
Well, I don't really drink alcohol often. Maybe three bottles of cider a year (barely 1.5L of the stuff yearly!) so I doubt that would be an issue. But if about 200$ (USD, I take it?) would make a good pocket money, that makes things all that much more affordable all of a sudden. :)
I'll definitively wait and see what the pricing options are for this year. Though I'm pretty sure I still won't be able to afford it this year, between cons and fixed expenses. :X Here's hoping, though! :D
ya the basic brake down of what you NEED to pay on ship is your tips for your stateroom atendent and head waiter come out to about $50. all normal food and milk tea and lemon aid water ect is included. if you want soda its a $35-40 package that makes soda unlimited. other extra cost stuff on the ship special food (IE johnny rockets or the high end on board stake house) the spa (masages and other services) shore cruises (jet ski rental, dune buggy, tours on shore). casino cash too. so what you spend is totally up to you but what i gave you before is a good estimate
I'd like to go again and am trying to convince Pat to come with. Its pretty much on the contingent of getting a new job however. Alas, I probably can't go on government monies.
