A personal triumph...
It is with pleasure that I announce an end to my year-long-or-more flip-flopping indecision on bikes, as I am now the proud owner of a 2002 Triumph Sprint ST:
Just curious if anyone else on the group has had experience with these... or if there are any Triumph fans in general (I know of at least one!).
Still not ruling out a possible switch to an SV650/SV1000/TL1000 some day as I've loved those since the day they came out, but I like the engine on the Triumph, I like the style, I like how it fits me (although it's heavy), I wanted to try something non-Japanese, and the Triumph owners in the area seem like a really good bunch.
Sooooo... we'll see how that works out! First time back in the saddle in about ten years -- it'll be a long wait until the spring thaw.
