Here's my new ride. Bone stock 2003 SV650. It replaces my '85 KZ440 and becomes a companion to my CB700SC.

$2800 OTD with 12,000 miles on it. Almost new tires and brakes.

Fantastic little bike. I still love (nearly) every ride on mine. If you ever want any opinions of aftermarket pieces or upgrades, give me a shout!

Yay bike! Can't believe Suzuki stopped making them.

That said, can you make the pic a bit smaller? It's fucking up my friend's page, even with a placeholder.

Or put it behind a cut. Something. Pretty please?

Yeah, I think it was a mistake to have discontinued them. Especially with gas prices on the rise everywhere and commuting distances getting ever longer.

I did go ahead and hide the image under a cut. It's half the size of the original, so I thought I'd resized it small enough.

They're so popular, my favorite biker forum has an "SV Army."

Thanks for hiding it; even at that size it was still over 1200 px wide. IMO (and only IMO), 640x480 is plenty big enough for LJ. I post images hosted at Flickr, so I can let folks click through for gigantor sizes.

If my friend hadn't fallen in deep crush with the new Honda NC700X, I was going to try to steer him towards the SV. I think it has the qualities and specs he's looking for, but he's nutty about the NC700, and I can't really fault his taste.
