So, we've been doing our best to settle in, make the house a little more homely and ignore the walls of stuff hemming us in.

It's really starting to get to me. I'm in full shut down mode right now. Teeth clenched, stomach tight, pounding headache, burning with barely contained rage. I can't count the number of times I've nearly destroyed my handheld so far just in typing this much(actually, I'd typed a lot more, but ljmobile was freezing up just as much as the full version, and doesn't auto save my text). Luckily, I may have found a solution, and will permit its continued existence. If it weren't a gift and pretty much only means of internet acces, I wouldn't have put up with its glitches this long. I mean, I can't even use it as a phone, or a camera.

So, as for the house, we don't have a living room. There is a small space set up by the boys to play video games, but for instance there is nowhere to set up my desktop, which is up in my room where it doesn't really fit, and there is no comfortable way to sit in front for any amount of time, so I can't really work on my digital art, and can't really scan in, much less upload any traditional work.

And naturally, there's no place anywhere open enough I can work on fursuit stuff. I've been working on a pony custom, which has given me the release of doing some work, but I really want to be able to work on a fuller range and finish off some of my other commissions as well.

We also don't have much of a kitchen, the first loads of boxes were heaped up and buried there by the successive trips which clogged up all other spaces. We have one small side with pantry, fridge, microwave and sink. On the other side of the pile taking up at least half the room, is our newly accessable table. We have no stove/oven. What little space we have was mostly cleared by us in the last week, and still more often than not, we have to eat out because we don't have enough room to prepare meals. We also have yet to make a satisfactory trip to the grocery store, do to depleted funds and car-lessness.

A great deal of the problem relies entirely upon our inexperienced landlords to remove the furniture they want to keep/don't want us using. Most notably, they refuse to let us intervene with the heaps of scrap metal occupying the entirety of the basement. If they could follow through, even halfway, on either end we could at least manage to begin removing things from common areas.

It seems they expect we are ignorant children who should accept everything greatfully and pour our money over it. They do not seem to respect us as adults who are aware of the duties of renting and experienced in what responsibilities belong to whom. It'd be really great if they could admit they really don't know what the fuck they are doing and we are being unreasonably understanding.

I just needed to get all that off my chest, but the catharsis only lasts insofar as the reality that there is still so moluch more that needs to be done, and so little I can do about it.
