the (short) list of things i've accomplished this week:
- spent lots of money on back-to-school classroom decorations
- began preparing to tow my car to find out it has been towed by the city of beaver falls
i just drove by monday and it was gone. i'm afraid of asking the city where it is because i don't want to pay the money for the parking tickets. on the other hand, i was already trying (not very hard, obviously) to find a place to get rid of it and it seems they took care of that for me. the car is registered (i believe) in my name, so it should be a matter of time before i get in trouble for abandoning it. any advice? - watched an okay concert with reel big fish and streetlight
the concert was a good time, in general. myself, scotty d, billy, lauren, josh nard, ghatto, brett, and others all met up at club zoo. we were in time for streetlight manifesto, who opened with a rocking version of "when johnny comes marching home" straight into the first track of the old CD. RBF was surprisingly second, so brett and i skanked a bunch to them. it was disappointing to have no encore from those guys. they definitely should've headlined. less than jake sucked, for lack of a better term. - got my dishwasher working
so now all i need to do is actually decorate my classroom and buy a new car (although that will be difficult considering the number of bills i just recently paid out of my checking account). have a good week, everyone!
