I'll be 21 in less than twenty days...which means I can finally legally do what I've been doing for the past two years. RENTING CARS!
Yeah. Random. Anyway, excited that I'm finally hitting the mark. Especially since the next important birthday is 25 when my insurance rate goes down. Hopefully.
So my show is over! Hunter/Hunted was a smashing success, I think it went very well for my first ever production behind the directing table. Next on tap - end of October we have the Branford Puppet House Theatre for about two full weeks. My good friend Pabs is putting up his great show "Heart In The Ground" and I think I'll be doing "Frank and Juliet" by a Canadian man named Mike Bell. I think he's Canadian. It's a great script, in any case. Two shows a night with dinner theatre. Pretty sweet. No overhead - we're working with a guy named Sebastian who owns the theatre, so it's all profit. A rare chance to get William H. Gallegher Productions some money without spending all that much.
Started a partnership with Pabs, I think this will work really well. We get along great and have different ideas when it comes to theatre so the chances of our stuff getting stale is very low. Some would see that as a barrier. Not meeee.
My car is dead. No sentimental post like that last one where I remembered all the good things the Moo-Moo Mobile did for me. The Spirit? Punky Mooster as I called her, did nothing good for me. She made lots of noise and got stolen twice. Stupid car. I am glad she is dead. She just died on Sackett Point road about a week ago. Silly car. I have a new 96 Chevy Corsica, white, which I need to register. And name. Taking suggestions.
Anyway, I gotta go to work soon, but I am excited that my production company is making things happen and I look forward to everyone I know coming to see "True Theatre: A Night Of Tragedy and Comedy" at the Branford Puppet House Theatre in October!
