the barbarians are coming

I.Cannot.Deal reasonably with The Rise of the Planet of Apes. I ended up giggling uncontrollably at various moments in the movie. ( slight spoilers )

sorta-recs, movies, xmfc

I've not seen Rise of the Plant of the Apes (or any of the other ones), but even the trailers make me think I probably couldn't handle that film with the gravity they clearly expect.

Aside from the crack, I think I'm finally getting fed up with reading the description 'shark-like' in XMFC fic.

I've not seen the other ones but I know the gist...There's just no gravity AT ALL.

I think I'm finally getting fed up with reading the description 'shark-like' in XMFC fic.

Considering that it's a description awarded to Alastair Campbell in lolitics, I have trouble converging the imagery....Actually, I don't want the imagery or the fandom(s) to converge D:

I'd be amazed if there wasn't an XM crossover request at the lolitics meme. Charles should hire Alastair Campbell to help with mutant PR. ERIK WOULD HIRE MANDY. The Prince of Darkness and the Master of Magnetism: unstoppable.

There's only been NuLab-with-Random-Mutant=Power prompts. I actually haven't seen XM crossover request.

But you should go prompt it because it would be GLORIOUS. Charles is like what Mandy wishes he can be XD

I clawed my way out of that abyss once, I don't think I have the strength to do it again. Whenever I go home and see my stack of half-read politics books I get twinges of missing lolitics. Risk of relapse is too high.

Someone should seriously write that, though. Hint hint? :)

I'm almost out of that abyss but the abyss of XMFC and lolitics are too close together that I'm more or less hanging on a narrow bridge so that most of me is in xmfc except for my arms which are in lolitics and this metaphor's becoming far too elaborate..

I have THREE XMFC WIPs at the moment and THREE RL things I'm suppose to finish. They will all be finished, by and by (well, the RL things cannot be by and by D:). Seriously though, I'm hoping my fic obsessive phase passes quickly because the amount of badficand unnecessary/life-ruining youtube vids/interviews I'm consuming is staggering. That said, have you read Erik as a kitten fic? So. Many. Transfiguration. Fics in this fandom.

If, by some miracle, I managed to finish my WIPs..then perhaps XD

XMFC is an abyss in and of itself, only one that doesn't so much look back at you as one that sees you side-eyeing it, grabs you, and drags you in never to be released.

I seriously sympathise, can't remember another fandom in which I spent so much time reading fic, watching vids (have you seen this one? I watch it at least once a day and listen to the song much more than that, and I don't even like dubstep), watching interviews, reading more fic. I love the new fandom feeling, but would like more time for the rest of my life, thanks. Oh god, the kitten fic. Loved that embarrassingly much.

\o/!
